'WilliCart' almost on the road!
Only fourteen years in the making and (dare I say it) almost finished. It's probably cost more in tea and biscuits than materials!

The creation of good friends Brian Williams and Billy Cartwright the car was handmade at home with limited materials and a budget to match. It was designed using B.A.D (beer aided design) on the back of a beer mat.

It's passed it's MOT and now has just one more test before it's road legal... so look out for it.

3 seater, mid driver.
Audi 2.2 Turbo 5 cylinder.
666Kg approx.
200BHP approx.
They did it!!
Well done Brian and Eif who arrived in Paris safely on September 4th.
It was Brian's first Pedal to Paris and Eif's third.
Thank you to everyone who has sponsored them. There is still time if you want to make a donation (ask in the shop) - all sponsor money goes to the Royal British Legion. We will let
you know the total raised as soon as we have the figure.
It's Legal... at Last!!

After fourteen and a half years it's finally road legal.
It passed its Mot months ago but then had to go to the ministry in Manchester. Four pages of failures later, some 'modifications' and another month or so and it finally got the seal of approval. Registration and number plates arrived on Sat 10th December.

Bri's barely slept since then and has bought up our entire supply of ralgex after driving it around so much he has a stiff neck. As for mate Billy - he's busy penning letters to Top Gear.

Hmmm. Open car. Welsh winter....

Watch out for the 'official' launch early next year.
THE TOTAL RAISED BY THE 'COLOMENDY TEAM'
PEDAL TO PARIS CYCLISTS WAS
£12,500
Thank you to everyone who supported them.
After more than a decade behind the counter Mal recently retired. There were many messages and good wishes from the numerous customers who have come to know and love her over the years.

On behalf of Brian, Ady, Eif and Viv we would like to thank her for all her hard work. It was a pleasure to have her here - she had become not just a colleague but a valued friend to all of the staff and many customers too.

Mal, we wish you all the best in your retirement, it's time to sit back and relax a little.

Thank you.
